Services and concerts

The Cathedral’s main service takes place on Sundays and holidays at 11.00. Mass is generally held every day except Saturday.

Below  you will find a calendar ”Uppsala domkyrkas kalender”. Choose a date to see what's on in the Cathedral. In the upper right corner you can use the transalation button to translate the calendar. Tickets for concerts are sold in the Cathedral Shop.

Saturday concerts with free admission are held regularly during term-time (exceptions may occur) at 11.30 am.

Free concerts summer 2023

  • Brass music from the tower followed by a short concert in the Cathedral Tue 27 June–Sat 1 July and Tue 4 July–Sat 8 July at 12 am.
  • Organ concerts with international guest organists Sundays 9 July–20 August at 15.30.
  • Choir concerts: Sun 2 July at 3.30 pm Choir of Gonville and Caius College from Cambridge, England; Fri 7 July at 2 pm Choir of Jesus College, Cambridge; Sat 8 July at 5 pm RunBySingers, England.
  • Short organ concert at lunchtime 12.30 Mon 24, Wed 26, Fri 28, Mon 31 July, Wed 2, Fri 4, Mon 7, Wed 9, Fri 11 August.
