University students go through a wide range of experiences during their years of study: acquiring new horizons of knowledge and professional skills, sitting exams, writing dissertations, celebrating their achievements at graduation - not to mention enjoying life and forming friendships. This might also be a stressful time, maybe even marked by loneliness and performance anxiety.
The University Chaplaincy is open to staff and students, regardless of your background and personal history, your convictions, or your faith (Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Hindu or secular).
We organize social activities where you can meet old friends or make new acquaintances.
We also provide the opportunity to book a confidential conversation, free of charge. Sharing your concern with someone can be life-changing: “a burden shared is a burden halved”. All of us who work in the University Chaplaincy have been trained in counselling.
The University Chaplaincy is ecumenical and inclusive. We can also help you get in touch with a minister of religion or find a place of worship belonging to your preferred faith tradition.
