The purpose of the conference was to critically look upon the experiences of the activities of Church of Sweden Mission. It also sought to constructively engage in a conversation about present and future post-colonial church relations, with the mission history as a backdrop.
The conference was organised in cooperation with the Unit of Research and Analysis at the Church of Sweden Central Church Office and the Department of Theology at Uppsala University.
