Andreas Sandberg’s research focuses on church membership and how the Church of Sweden’s membership changes over time, from socio-economic and demographic perspectives.
Professor in church history. Her research includes what it means to be a church in the Anthropocene – an era of ecological crisis and climate change. Her current research centres on placing cultural heritage, church practices, rites and theology in the context of sustainable development.
Filippa Åhman is an analyst at the Unit of Research and Analysis.
Gustav Svärdhagen is an analyst at the Unit of Research and Analysis.
Jenny is doctor of theology and works as a researcher at the unit. Her area of research is theological ethics, including issues of political ethics, democracy, human rights, global ethics and justice.
Jonas Bromander is an analyst. He is responsible for compiling, quality-assuring, making available and analysing statistics on the activities of the parishes, their membership and their demographic composition. He also conducts research in the areas of membership development, demography and forecasting.
Kristina Helgesson Kjellin is docent in cultural anthropology. Her research areas span include migration, the role of the Church in a multicultural and multi-faith society and mission.
Maria is a researcher in faiths and ideologies and church history. Her research encompasses gender, theology and the Church of Sweden during the 20th century. She has published academic writings and worked as a cultural writer in areas such as theology, feminism and social issues.
Michael Nausner is a systematic theologian. His interest focuses on a constructive approach in theology to contemporary challenges in society. His research centres on the human relationship with the more-than-human Creation.
Mikael Kurkiala is docent in cultural anthropology and a researcher and external affairs analyst at the Unit of Research and Analysis.
Sara Fransson is a researcher at the Unit of Research and Analysis at the Central Church Office in Uppsala.
