During one of the meal breaks, you'll have the opportunity to stay connected online and simply bask in the delightful conversation between these two remarkable ladies as they discuss a wide array of topics that pique their interest. Last year, their discussion was not only entertaining but also deeply insightful and touching, and we have no doubt that you'll relish the chance to listen to them once more.
This is how they describe themselves:
Anne-Christine (left) was a vicar and was called Åke. It caused a great stir when she announced that from now on, she was named Ann-Christine. Since 2014, she has given highly appreciated lectures all over the country with great humor and warmth, addressing topics such as gender, gender norms, and what it means to be a transgender person.
Mother Grace Wilgefortis Ferris (right) is one of the few transgender Catholics priests worldwide. A former Southern Baptist minister living in upstate New York, USA, Mother Grace began tandem transitions in 2020–one from Baptist to Catholic, and the other from Gary to Grace. She is pastor of the Saint Wilgefortis TransMISSION, the online ministry to transgender Catholics that is part of the independent Catholic Apostolic Church in North America. Mother Grace has five grown children and one grandchild, all of whom think she is courageous for combining her ministry with living her authentic life.
