For the first time we welome Ms Latrell Felix to join us as a speaker during Transblessing 2024!
She is a transgender woman researcher from the Philippines. She graduated with the degree of Bachelor of Arts in Sociology at the University of the Philippines Diliman. Her research interests include gender studies, transgender health, sociology of religion, and decolonial studies. She is a current mentee of Religion and Public Life in the Philippines Mentoring Program which is a highly selective initiative that gathers early career scholars interested in the study of faith and society. She is also working on a research project on "Stigma Reduction and Gender Affirmation to Promote HIV Prevention/Testing in Trans Women.
She will be speaking around the title Queers in Church: Carving the Future of Christianity Sat Oct 12th 2.15pm CET.
