Activities in English

The Swedish Church in Umeå wants to be a place of faith and spiritual maturity, commitment, tranquility and gatherings, in the midst of everyday life. 

Welcome to Sunday services in English 

Most services on Sundays at 11 am are interpreted into English at Ålidhem Church, i.e. Ålidhemskyrkan. If you understand and want to worship in English, you are very welcome! You will find the earphones in the back of the church, and you can ask the hosts at the service for help.

University Chaplaincy 

We are open to all students and all staff at the University regardless of beliefs or philosophy. Welcome to visit us in "Naturvetarhuset"

Retreat för studenter - retreat for students

4 till 6 oktober i Tavelsjö. Under en retreat drar vi oss tillbaka från vardagslivets angelägenheter och relationer för att vila och vara i tystnad tillsammans med andra. We welcome you to spend a weekend together in silence and stillness by the lake of Tavelsjö, 4th to 6th of October.

Ålidhemskyrkan

Ålidhemskyrkan byggdes 1973 för att vara en vardagskyrka för alla. Här finns grupper för barn i alla åldrar, en stor verksamhet för vuxna med samtals- och fördjupningsgrupper.

Vill du prata om Gud med andra, kanske på finska? Äta god mat och umgås? Sjunga i kör, även om du tycker att du inte kan? Eller vill ditt barn träffa kompisar och göra roliga saker?
