FREE GUIDED TOURS IN ENGLISH

Guided tours during autumn, winter and spring 

First Sunday of the month at 12.30 and around holidays:

2024: 1 September, 6 October, 3 November, 1 December and extra tours Wednesday 25 December and Sunday 29 December. 

2025: extra tour 1 January, 5 January, 2 February, 2 March, 6 April, extra tours Sunday 20 and Monday 21 April, 4 May, 1 June. 

Tour program may be subject to change.​​

Explore the Cathedral on your own

There is a small leaflet in several languages outside the Cathedral Shop at all hours, to help you find your way in the Cathedral (10 SEK). Our guide book in English is available in the shop when open.​ 

Booked tours, prices 

Groups are welcome to book a guided tour in English. Depending on date we can often arrange tours in Finnish, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Polish or Russian.

• Guided tour of the Cathedral 2000 SEK.
• Guided tour of the Treasury 2000 SEK + group admission to the museum 45 SEK/person, (from 1 January 2025: 60 SEK/person)  - maximum 15 persons at the time.
• Tour of the Cathedral and Treasury 2650 SEK + group admission to the museum 45 SEK/person. (from 1 January 2025: 60 SEK/person).
• Tour with school classes 825 SEK.
• Tour with congregational groups and other religious institutions 1600 SEK. 

Groups bringing their own guide

Groups bringing their own guide to give a tour in the Cathedral are to pay a 600 SEK viewing fee (from 1 January 2025: 800 SEK.) This does not apply to school groups bringing their own guide. The fee can be paid in the Cathedral Shop in cash, card or by voucher. If the shop is closed, please put cash or voucher in the collection box outside the shop. 

Groups bringing their own guide cannot make a reservation but are recommended to check accessibility in advance.
