The University Church

The University Church is organized at universities and colleges across Sweden through a collaboration of different Christian denominations. Its purpose is to offer both students and university employees, regardless of their cultural background or sexual identity, someone to talk to and a safe space when needed, to build an inviting community and offer a chance for existential reflection, to help establish contact with local churches and to be a resource for emergency preparedness and crisis management.

Welcome to the University Church!

You are more than what you accomplish.

Life can sometimes feel like a struggle, both as a student or at work, especially if you also feel that you are alone or lack support. We who work at the University Church at Linnaeus University in Växjö have many years of experience talking with people in different phases of life. Our conversations don’t have to be about religion or faith, but can deal with grief, guilt, shame, relationship problems or other issues that can feel burdensome to live with. One conversation can be the first step towards a change in your life situation. You can come only once or over an extended period, depending on what you would like and what you need.

Don’t hesitate to get in touch and book a meeting. It is free, we do not take any notes and we maintain strict confidentiality.
